$SPX Weekly chart starting way back from 2009 drop. Its been a hell of a run. Trillionaires made. If we test this 2009 light blue trend line its what I've said 3650 area or -44% drop from ath. Don't think it could happen, who knows. Covid drop was -38% that orange trend line shows 4800 test was lows/support also. But both these trend lines are interesting to explore two probabilities.

$SPX Chart Update: The 4 MAJOR confluences of support I pointed out a few weeks ago around the 4,800ish area are still very much alive. Bulls did a great job bouncing hard off that a couple weeks ago. The bears know what they need to do here. Break below 4,800 with conviction and we see 4,500-4,600 where the major 61.8% fib retracement from the Covid lows is located. Bulls want to see a convincing break above the failed double bottom and bear flag pole tip area at 5,500. With the $VIX still near 30, we could see the 5,500 or 4,800 retests much sooner than one thinks. If I had to leeeeeean, I would say lower for a retest. Just my GIG indicator. A lot of Maggy 7's are showing relative weakness since that historical 13%+ one day $QQQ pop. In order for bulls to make a run at 5,500 or even the 50/200dma, NEED the Maggy's to rally here. Period. Do you know how to play the 2025 downturn and hedge properly? The $SPX will likely touch the 100-year central trendline and bounce by the end of 2025. This is a plausible scenario. I will discuss alternative scenarios later.
